Liability insurance according to BADV

According to Section 3 of the Ground Handling Ordinance, this is compulsory insurance. All service providers at airports (ground handling services) must take out aviation liability insurance. For example, damage may occur here that would be covered: administrative ground handling, surveillance, baggage handling, cargo handling, mail handling, ramp services, cleaning services, fueling services, flight operations services, crew services, ground transportation services, etc.

The insurance coverage includes the examination of all liability issues, the transfer of justified claims for damages and the fulfillment of justified obligations to pay damages.
