Seat accident insurance

Any person who is an authorized user of an aircraft may take out seat accident insurance on the basis of a sum insured to be agreed in advance for the event of disability and/or death. These may be pilots, crew members, student pilots, occupants or passengers. In addition to the option of insuring all seats on an aircraft, coverage can also be taken out only for the pilot seats or the passenger seats (seat system) or for named persons.

For pilots and crew members, this insurance is a perfect complement to private 24-hour accident insurance, as it mostly excludes accident events that occur during active flying or working.

This coverage can be supplemented with the assumption of medical expenses, a daily allowance and a hospital daily allowance.
